Wubbzy would rather eat Lisa's Wysongs food than her kitten food. Is it horrible to just let her eat that and not buy two different kinds of food?

My sister-in-law Vicky is on the cusp of winning a contest which is extremely important to her. She has been a long-time Aerosmith fan, and even went so far as to have their band logo tattooed on her by a close friend of hers. The agreement that she had between herself and her tattoo artist friend was that when she finally got to meet her heroes, he would ink their autographs on her body. Unfortunately, he was killed in a car accident a few years ago.
Since 1997, Vicky has dreamed of meeting Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. Her drive to do so has increased greatly since the death of her friend. The Aerosmith fan club is currently holding a contest where one lucky fan from each city they're playing in can win, election style, a meeting with the band. Words simply cannot express how much this would mean to Vicky, and I can't even begin to explain how truly worthy she is of the honor.
Currently, Vicky is in first place for the Long Island segment of this contest. However, she is only winning by an extremely narrow margin. Her competitor? A fourteen year old girl who, according to her own submission in the contest, has only been listening to the band for one year. Where Vicky is passionately enthralled with Aerosmith, this girl's interest ends at the four t-shirts she owns, and the Steven Tyler poster she plans on getting. Really, this is essentially what her entry states. The one and only reason this fourteen year old girl is a formidable risk to Vicky is because of intense social networking on her part.
That is why I have asked my friends to help my family get the word out about this contest and beg and implore as many people as possible to lend a hand to Vicky's cause. The contest ends Monday night at 5pm EST. Vicky is only winning by ten points. I ask that you ALL please VOTE FOR VICKY.
Here is the direct link to Vicky's entry page. Check that out. You don't even have to search for her name. You don't even have to read her entry. Literally, all you have to do is scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the icon of a thumbs-up in the bottom left corner. That's it! You can only vote once from each computer, but we ask that if you have multiple computers, please vote from there as well. We need all the help we can get. So yeah, HERE IS THE LINK AGAIN IN CASE YOU MISSED IT!!!!
Please, I know how cheesy it might seem, asking for help like this, but it truly would mean the world to her, and it can be counted as your one really good deed for the day. If you can, network this using your own blogs. Delete them tomorrow to reinstate your cool persona. But for tonight and tomorrow, help us do everything in our power to make a really awesome dream come true for her. Please, and Thank you.

I have this comic on my fridge and it makes me cackle! I just found it on youtube! Awesome! Check it out!

If you are reading this right now, you have more luxury than someone in Iran could ever hope for right now. If you are watching TV or a video on youtube, updating your status on Facebook, Tweeting, or even texting your friend, you are lucky. If you are safe in your home, and were able to sleep last night without the sounds of screaming from the rooftops, you need to know and understand what is happening to people just like you in Iran right now.

They are not the enemy. They are a people whose election has been stolen. For the first time in a long time, a voice for change struck the youth of Iran, just as it did for many people in the United States only seven months ago. Hossein Mousavi gained the support of millions of people in Iran as a Presidential candidate. He stands for progressiveness. He supports good relations with the West, and the rest of the world. He is supported with fervor as he challenges the oppressive regime of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
On Friday, millions of people waited for hours in line to vote in Iran's Presidential election. Later that night, as votes came in, Mousavi was alerted that he was winning by a two-thirds margin. Then there was a change. Suddenly, it was Ahmadinejad who had 68% of the vote - in areas which have been firmly against his political party, he overwhelmingly won. Within three hours, millions of votes were supposedly counted - the victor was Ahmadinejad. Immediately fraud was suspected - there was no way he could have won by this great a margin with such oppposition. Since then, reports have been coming in of burned ballots, or in some cases numbers being given without any being counted at all. None of this is confirmed, but what happened next seems to do the trick.

The people of Iran took the streets and rooftops. They shout "Death to the dictator" and "Allah o akbar." They join together to protest. Peacefully. The police attack some, but they stay strong. Riots happen, and the shouting continues all night. Text messaging was disabled, as was satellite, and websites which can spread information such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and the BBC are blocked in the country. At five in the morning, Arabic speaking soldiers (the people of Iran speak Farsi) stormed a university in the capital city of Tehran. While sleeping in their dormitories, five students were killed. Others were wounded. These soldiers are thought to have been brought in by Ahmadinejad from Lebanon. Today, 192 of the university's faculty have resigned in protest.
Mousavi requested that the government allow a peaceful rally to occur this morning - the request was denied. Many thought that it would not happen. Nevertheless, first a few thousand people showed up in the streets of Tehran. At this point, it is estimated that 1 to 2 million people were there. Mousavi spoke on the top of a car. The police stood by. For a few hours, everything was peaceful. Right now, the same cannot be said. Reports of injuries, shootings, and killings are flooding the internet. Twitter has been an invaluable source - those in Iran who still know how to access it are updating regularly with picture evidence. People are being brutally beaten. Tonight will be another night without rest for so many in Iran no older than I am. Tonight there is a Green Revolution.

I post more about those fucking baby birds then I do my own kids huh? Hahahahahah!
Oh but my little babies are so precious! The biggest baby has flown away and he/she comes back with the daddy and chirps away to the ones still in the nest. He flies up to the nest and then back down to the balcony and tries to get them to follow. I just saw the daddy again and after he left the little ones tried SO hard to fly. You could see one's wings just flapping and he got a couple of inches of air.
I'm going to spend a lot of time looking out of the window. It would be so rad to actually see them fly away, huh?

Check out this awesome picture Mike got of my little birdie friends!

You guys, I've seen the mama bird a few times! Once she was just sitting in the nest and the other time she was flying out as the father was coming in. This probably sounds really lame, but I am so HAPPY.

I'm heartbroken! I think the mama bird left her babies! They are almost a week old too! Last night I noticed that I didn't see her in the nest the couple of times I looked. At night she usually stays in there and doesn't even fly away when we come out. This morning she still isn't in there and just now I've started seeing the father bird flying around squawking up a storm. Do you think he's trying to call to her? I can see that the babies are still alive because they are sticking their little heads up! This is just terrible! The father won't shut up and I know it's him because I recognize him.
Stop using the word "epic" to describe cool stuff. I'm SO SICK of hearing/reading it. Thanks!
Please Jehovah! Help me with my motherfucking computer!!!!! This new laptop has some weird settings that make it so I cannot go to any sites like sendspace or torrent sites and it's driving me NUTS. It doesn't matter what browser I use either! Oh and it's not Comcast because the desk top doesn't have the same problem.
Today I tried to go to allposters.com and none of the images will show up! Like I'm gonna steal em or something? What is going on??? HELP ME! This is super lame. It's like someone put some weird parental settings on my computer and I can't figure out how to turn it off!!!
